I’m Steve Shope.

I have a depth and breadth of development expertise that spans nearly three decades. I’ve led hundreds of businesses and non-profit organizations through start-up, management, growth, and cultural change initiatives.

I’ve built local and multi-state coalitions around everything from the opioid epidemic to childhood obesity, in the U.S. – to cottage industry and wealth-building in third world countries.

Additionally, I have served three excepted service appointments with the U.S. Dept. of Commerce, developing large scale government operations and managing communications programs with media, local officials, community stakeholders, and members of Congress.
